Growing up we never lived more than a block away from my grandmother. The women were the stability of our family. Then in 1975 and 1977 we lost my grandmother and my mother, one to a brain aneurysm, and one to breast cancer. Obviously, my father and our family were thrown into turmoil. I was age 9 and 11, so most of my childhood was figuring out my way through grief. It was spent feeling alone and isolated.
Thankfully, God takes our junk and makes good out of it. He takes our weakness and shows his strength. As an adult, I have had the opportunity to help countless people through their journey and create programs to reach them wherever they are in their loneliness and isolation.
I have three decades of experience as a funeral director, death investigator, autopsy technician, hospice chaplain, hospice bereavement counselor, grief support group facilitator, and individual grief counselor. I have created an online support program that you can participate in from the comfort and safety of your own home.
The sad truth is approximately three million people will die in the United States this year. Statistics show each deceased individual leaves behind between 3 to 5 grieving loved ones, with approximately 10 percent of those left behind suffering from complicated grief. Out of all those individuals on their grief journey, very few will seek help.
Wherever you live, and wherever you are in your walk through loss, let us walk with you.

"A Walk of Faith" is a Biblical way of traveling through life with an eternal perspective. You don't need to walk alone.
